When something good happens, travel to celebrate.  If something bad happens, travel to forget it.  If nothing happens, travel to make something happen.

My favorite vacation memory

Can I have two?  The first was in 2016, when I was in Machu Pichu for my birthday.  A place I always dreamt of as a kid.  The second is watching the sunset in Mykonos Island eating pizza and drinking a Coke with friends.

My best/favorite souvenir

My favorite souvenirs are the photos I take and the memories I make.
I get to come home and put photos on my wall and tell my friends about
the wonderful places I got to visit.

The best vacation I’ve ever taken

A two-month trip to japan was not only one of the most extensive trips I’ve taken, but also one of the most rewarding. Spending significant time in the beautiful country of japan allowed me to not only experience tourist attractions and highlights, but also to see the beauty in everyday life and in the Japanese culture.

My travel bucket list

My friends make fun of me because they say I don’t have a bucket list I have a barrel list.  They are right!  I want to travel to every where in the world.  However, my top two are Israel and Antarctica.

Where did my love for travel come from?

My love for traveling began with my parents at a young age.  Every summer, my mom and dad would take my brother and I to visit our grandparents in Mexico.  It was fascinating to see other children and their families live in such a different way than we did.  As I continue to get older, I would watch the history channel with my dad.  One day, we watched a special on the seven wonders of the world.  I fell in love with Machu Pichu, Peru and told myself that someday I would go.  I also told myself that if I became an airline stewardess I could travel the world for “free”.

As an adult, I completely changed career paths and I get to pay for my travels.  I have a full-time job and in my spare time I would do research for a personal vacation or for others.  People always come to me for travel advice.  However, I never thought about being a travel agent until I got close to my retirement.  This led me to meet Wendi whom I was going to hire to plan a birthday trip for me.  We clicked the first time we talked and she offered me a job.  I accepted a part-time position with her company, I still have a full-time job, and love it!  I have so much to learn but with Wendi and the advice of the other team members, I can plan your upcoming fabulous vacation!
